We worked with Mr & Mrs J from the very beginning of their project. We worked closely with the Architect making sure the Kitchen and Utility spaces were balanced and functional. These clients knew they wanted a neutral space that was large yet warm and welcoming from the start of the design process. We chose a colour palette and explored a few different layouts for the space, before finally settling with the peninsula design.
The utility room bought forward challenges of its own, as the existing, rather large boiler had to be incorporated. We created bespoke cabinetry to house this whilst also fulfilling the laundry room requirements for the client. We decided with on our slab door, Manhattan ‘Sahara’ to brighten up the small space, paired with chalet oak laminate worktops creating an inviting yet practical room.
